The role

VirtualMetric have created a 1st generation on-prem software product and is preparing the marketing introduction of a V2 SaaS version of the product in Q4. As a Product Manager at VirtualMetric, your primary responsibility is to drive the development and success of the company’s SaaS software products. You will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to launch and ongoing enhancements. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to deliver exceptional products that meet customer needs and drive business growth. 

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Tech Founder to understand and align on the Product Vision, ensuring it is translated into a clear and comprehensive product strategy and roadmap 
  • Drive the development and implementation of a prioritisation framework to effectively manage and communicate product requirements and priorities. 
  • Structure the Product Backlog by defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear objectives. 
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure timely and high-quality product development, providing guidance and support. 
  • Gather feedback from internal stakeholders, customers, and prospects to inform product decisions and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to drive product innovation and differentiation. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of enterprise customer requirements, ensuring that our products deliver a seamless and valuable experience. 
  • Collaborate effectively with the engineering team, leveraging your technical background or strong understanding of DevOps principles to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and product management trends to drive continuous improvement in our product development processes. 
  • Take a Product-Led growth approach, leveraging data and market insights to drive product adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth. 


  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the B2B SaaS software industry. 
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, technology trends, and the software development lifecycle. 
  • Ability to gather and analyze market and customer insights to drive product strategy and decision-making. 
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage analytics and metrics to make informed product decisions. 
  • Solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles and the ability to translate them into product designs. 
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience with agile product development processes. 
  • Proven track record of applying a Product-Led growth approach, driving user adoption, engagement, and revenue growth. 
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration.
