The role

With a solid base of happy customers and partners in Turkey and the US, we are now working on expanding VirtualMetric in Europe. This requires additional resources in all functional areas. 

 

As our HR Office Manager, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s office and administrative functions. Your role also includes HR and finance support. This role requires a combination of strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be responsible for managing various office-related activities and providing administrative support, as well as fostering a positive office culture. 

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Office management: making sure everything is in place to have a great work environment: interior decoration, office supplies, inventory, food and drinks, etc. 
  • Provide administrative assistance to executives and teams, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and making travel arrangements. 
  • Handle incoming and outgoing invoices. 
  • Handle the HR administration, including onboarding and off-boarding of employees. 
  • Coordinate and organize company events, team meetings, and conferences, including venue selection, catering, and logistics. 
  • Help create a great team spirit and winning atmosphere by organizing team-building activities, celebrations, and employee recognition programs. 
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding office policies, procedures, and facilities. 
  • Maintain and update company filing. 
  • Last but not least you take the initiative to pick up activities that need to be done and nobody else can do. 

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role, preferably in a tech startup or fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English and Dutch. 
  • Proficiency in office software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace). 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. 
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a high energy level and a positive and friendly attitude.

Location

Primary Location:  Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
