The role
With a solid base of happy customers and partners in Turkey and the US, we are now working on expanding VirtualMetric in Europe. This requires additional resources in all functional areas.
One of the key roles is acquiring an experienced Channel Sales Manager.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a channel sales strategy for Turkey that aligns with the VirtualMetric business objectives
- Identify and recruit channel partners to sell the VirtualMetric software.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, including regular communication, training sessions, and joint marketing initiatives.
- Provide necessary sales tools, training, and resources required to effectively promote and sell the VirtualMetric software.
- Set sales targets and track performance: Set sales targets and quotas for channel partners, monitor their performance, and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their targets.
- Conduct market analysis(including competitor activities, industry trends, and customer needs) to identify opportunities and adjust the channel sales strategy accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and customer support to ensure effective channel partner support, timely product updates, and efficient issue resolution.
- Develop and execute joint marketing initiatives to generate demand and increase brand awareness.
- Provide sales forecasts and reports.
- Ensure compliance with channel partner agreements, including pricing, discount structures, and sales terms, and negotiate or renew agreements as necessary.
- Address any conflicts or disputes that may arise between channel partners, end customers, or internal teams.
- Act as a liaison between channel partners and the product management team, providing valuable feedback on customer needs, market demands, and product enhancements.
- Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars to educate channel partners on product features, value propositions, and sales techniques.
- Evaluate channel partner performance based on sales targets, revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and adherence to agreed-upon business terms
Experience
- Strong background in sales, preferably in the software industry.
- Experience in channel management, working with resellers, distributors, or partners.
- A proven track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships and driving revenue through channel sales.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing channel sales strategies and plans is important. This includes setting sales targets, forecasting, analyzing market trends, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets, drive revenue growth, and track key performance metrics is important.
- Experience in analyzing sales data, generating reports, and using insights to make informed decisions is desirable.
- Knowledge of of enterprise software solutions, including the features, benefits, and competitive landscape, is essential.
- Preferably experience in the domain of IT infrastrcuture and or monitoring and analystics

- Result/target-driven personality.
- Tech-savvy.
- Fluent in written and spoken Turkish and English.
- Great writing skills.
- Structured way of working but can also be pragmatic.
- A good communicator and team player.
- Creative and solution-oriented, “can-do” mentality.
- Preferably a relevant Academic (or HBO) degree.

Primary Location: Istanbul, Turkey.
